The CNR participated in the eGeH25 (eGoverment and eHealth one digital health) event, held at the Pio XI Hospital in Desio (Monza Brianza) on July 10, 2025, discussing the exposome and presenting the GEMMA project.
The event was organized to mark the 49th anniversary of the environmental accident that caused the release and dispersion into the atmosphere of a cloud of TCDD dioxin, an extremely toxic man-made substance, in the Brianza Ovest area of Seveso. The role and importance of adequate specialized hospital facilities in responding to past and present emergencies, such as disasters, pandemics, and demographic and epidemiological changes, was highlighted.
