To draw attention to autism spectrum disorders (ASD) and promote inclusion and understanding, the Department of Human, Social Sciences and Cultural Heritage of the National Research Council (Cnr-Dsu) of Italy has organized the event “Tell Me About Autism” which will be held in Rome on June 17 at 3:00 pm CET, at Sala Marconi – Pizzale Aldo Moro, 7.
During the meeting, the scientific innovations on early diagnosis of the GEMMA project will be illustrated, as well as on targeted clinical, enabling and educational interventions, also oriented towards family well-being. Special guests, two interactive and social anthropomorphic robots NAO and QTRobot, tools capable of improving the social skills of children with autism, providing emotional support and facilitating communication. Finally, the presentation of the podcast Come Quando Fuori è Dentro, created to increase awareness of autism.
